Here's a bang-up title (logo) that Matt Hildebrand cooked up for my zine, the first issue of which is in the works. I think it'll be ready soon! Until then I thought you'd enjoy a few peeks behind the curtain. More glimpses to come soon. In less exciting news, I can't run the game tomorrow night. It's actually more like this: if I try to run it, I know it's not going to go well. I need to do more prep on either or both of the new locations you're headed to--they're fun, and I'm looking forward to a change of scene, but they're just not ready to go. Next week 8/30 for sure.

Hey Ben, Probably won't be able to play tonight. Something is brewing at work that might call for me to be here later than planned.

Downtime thread for our stay at the pagodas of the Hanging Merchants. Ben L. We never talked about it, but we had a couple of the Zyanese energy bows with full charges of force and electricity. Could I have one at hand as an alternate range weapon, when my current energy bow loses its charges? Are they a full bow stave, just with no string? I'll probably also be getting a mundane short bow, but don't want to push the hazy edges of encumbrance too far.

Sorry, I meant to make this clear sooner, but there's no game this week as we're on a family vacation. We'll play next week 8/16 though.

The map for tonight's session. The party starts just north of the "Village" of the Temple Tenders The party is on the second level of the Sanctorum of the Temporal Maenads. It's a temple (sacred prison) for the "enlightened sages" of the Horoscops Guild--their mad and terrifying divinities. It's a high level, space warping dungeon. The party is ostensibly here to rescue a prisoner, Leonasha, and deliver a family heirloom to her. it's a promise they made to a shade of this woman's mother. They hope to use her household as a base of operations in Zyan Above. They also got a hell of a lot of loot from the corpse of one of the Temporal Maenads. They have found the encampment of the Temple Tenders, and now, with a disguise in hand, approach.
