Here is the post session map.

Here is the post session map. I was running off pretty sketchy notes about level 2 last time, so there's a bit of filling in detail I'd like to do at the start of the next session to set the scene. I'll post some room descriptions for the first four rooms in the comments below in a little bit. Note that the most Southern room is not one you've explored yet. You just poked in long enough to see that there were a couple doors to the west and perhaps an archway at the end. It looked like there were murals on the wall. I'll tag folks when I have the room descriptions up.

  1. Good question Cédric Plante. Here's what the party knows about the masks and the individuals involved. These individuals are from Zyan above, the flying city in the dreamlands that sits atop the rock from the bottom of which the white jungle hangs. (It's literally a mile above the party's heads right now.) They are the first and almost only NPC hirelings to descend to the base camp that the party has been operating from at the top of the White Jungle, the Pagodas of the hanging merchants. Other than the hanging merchants, people don't come down from Zyan anymore to the White Jungle.

The party took them on a series of adventures exploring an interdimensional temple. In the course of the adventure, Cavimesh fought bravely against some demons.

As for the masks, everyone in Zyan above wears masks associated with their clan, or guild if they are a guildsman. In the past the masks were ceremonial and only worn on special occasions, but owing to the decay of society, the Zyanese have retreated behind their masks, which are worn in public at all times now.

Here was the original descriptions of the two NPCs.

    Cavimesh F1 HP7 AC6 (Splint) MR9 Climb2 Longbow 1d8 Shortsword 1d6 ½ share XP and Treasure
He wears a grinning mask with a protruding tongue. He belongs to the imperfect Clan of the Grape Stompers. His demeanor is jolly. He says that he has come to the jungle because he exhausted his career prospects in Zyan above.

Marulu F0 HP4 AC9 MR8 Climb1 100GP. He wears a grimacing mask with sweat dripping from its creased brow. He belongs to the contemptible Clan of the Porters. He appears to be a simpleton. He says in simple language that he has come to the jungle accompanying Cavimesh—who constantly jests at his expense.
