Downtime Thread & NO GAME this week. Resuming 9/27.

In the warmth, before the fire, in Zalvorex's cozy sitting room, Zalvorex welcomes you back. Vaz pours a mellow, mauve whisky that washes away your weariness. And the two of them settle down to eagerly hear your report. They ask you about in detail about the landscape of the valley and the encounters you had. They are very curious to hear the current state of the ship. They question you in detail about each of your encounters. They seem disturbed when you recount the encounter with the Eigolphins. And apologize that you had to relive their trauma "in most violent fashion".

They are pleased to receive what you have given them, pocketing the detachable globe and smiling broadly when you hand over the humidors of hulbaba. They encourage you to return for the still more lucrative materials in the lower deck. They ask you casually if you took anything else from the vessel.

Dennis finds that the experience he had in the captain's quarters remains with him. He now remembers the experience of losing his brother in the pink wheat to the horrifying psychic vampires, and the devastation and anger of his parents, and the self-recriminations, as though it were a memory of his own.

T'kar shows his affliction, revealing the eyes on his chest. Zalvorex does some tests and reveals them to be a demonic possession. He thinks that with the tools from the operating theater, he might (50%) be able to remove the demonic infection. However, if Dozar casts an exorcism spell Dozar believes the power of MANA-YOOD SUSHAI will be able to drive them out. Until the affliction is removed, T'kar cannot sleep. The eyes are unblinking and watchful, even if covered in darkness, and the mind can know no rest. He will not heal tonight from sleep and will be fatigued in the morning (-1 to rolls).

What do you say in answer to Zalvorex's question about whether or not you took anything? You may ask them any questions you like about anything you encountered, or the maps that I attached below.

  1. Ben L. As a player, I was completely unaware that only some things were supposed to be taken and some weren't. On your list of treasure, it reads to me like only the statue is "stolen". Does that mean Ernis is in the clear for those novels?

  2. Nick Kuntz Yes, you came to the session after we had discussed that. The novels were stolen, I had marked them in the wrong category. You can bring it up if you want to, but it's up to you. Right now their just tucked away in your bag. If you don't tell me otherwise, I'm assuming that you will read them and later sell them.
