Sessions 51-55 A Very Brief Recap and Take Well, the campaign has moved into a much more organic mode, at least for the moment. The party is settling old scores and setting up a home base in the waking world. They have also been employing Elixirs of Penumbral Transmigration to open shimmering priaducts that allow them to zip around between the waking world and various parts of Zyan Below that they have visited previously, in order to accomplish various objectives. As a result, only two of the last five sessions have been in the usual dungeon crawl mode. And things are moving in dramatic directions, in some ways alarming, in others advantageous to the party. I'll be doing an XP and treasure thread soon. But let's get the downtime thread rolling: The party has come through another shimmering priaduct from Adrianna's quarters into Zalvorex's moving manse. After finding out about the Sapphire he was investigating, the party informed Zalvorex that they had a prisoner from Phantamoria. This is a being that came through his own priaduct while the party was in the library. The party wanted to know more about the group and its capacities. Several things emerged from the conversation: Methrion sails on a vessel called "The Double". It has a crew of 20, and is captained by Valdivoir. The Double has materials to repair or replace the ruined sail of "The Parapraxis", Zalvorex's ruined vessel that is crashed in the Valley of the Flowers on level 2 of the White Jungle. Hi all, unfortunately I can't run t his week, because it's my wife's birthday. I tried to schedule our festivities for Wednesday, but that didn't work, so we're celebrating on Thursday. We'll be playing next week, barring an unforeseen catastrophe.

Dozar and the Book Dozar stumbled upon the secret cavern in the bottom of the book well earlier in his desperate searches for a means of egress. After Dozar was freed, and their strange foes dispatched, the party decided to explore this space. Within they found the pure white egg in which Aphrodosius, Nymph of the Seven Worlds slumbered. Salinger cracked the egg, waking her from her divine slumber. Wiping her sleep from her eyes, she informed Salinger that her heart was a book, the crown jewel of the legendary library of the hanging Palace, the greatest library in Wishery. He might read the book if he wished by placing his palm upon her heart, and, were he worthy, this tome would open before him and its wisdom would be his for the taking; but were he unworthy "he would face a terrible trial".
